The City of Helsinki aims to be carbon-neutral by 2030, zero-carbon by 2040, and thereafter carbon negative. In order to identify concrete solutions that enable carbon-negativity, the City of Helsinki organised a Carbon-Negative Helsinki expert survey in May 2023. The aim of the survey was to support the concretisation of a carbon-negative future, in addition to which the responses can be used in the later stages of the process and for research purposes that promote understanding of the topic.
